COVID-19 and School Visitor Procedures
At Raptor Technologies®, our mission is to protect every child in every school, every day. As a committed ally to those responsible for protecting the well-being of others, we want to support you in minimizing the exposure of COVID-19 to your students and staff.
Approximately 9 million visitors check in to U.S. schools each school day, including contractors, vendors, volunteers, and parents.
Some of the procedures that we are seeing in our clients’ schools across the country include:
- Informing parents and other visitors that they should avoid coming to the school unless absolutely necessary.
- Requesting that all school visitors use hand sanitizer immediately upon entry.
- Asking all school visitors whether they have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19, are displaying symptoms such as a fever or dry cough, have actually been diagnosed themselves, or have recently traveled to high-risk countries. Information fields within the Raptor Visitor Management system can easily be customized to accomplish this—we explain how in this on demand webinar.
