About this Webinar

Alyssa’s Law was recently enacted in Virginia, permitting school boards to provide staff in elementary and secondary schools with wearable panic alert systems. Districts that move forward must select a system capable of signaling an emergency to local 911 PSAPs and sending multisensory notifications—both of which are supported by Raptor Badge Alert.

In this webinar, Nick Caputo (Lynchburg City Schools, VA) and Nick Georges (Fairfax County Public Schools, VA) will discuss their districts’ implementation of Raptor Badge Alert. Also hear how CRG's integrated maps, displayed directly in the Raptor platform, give first responders precise, real-time location details during an emergency.

Key Takeaways

  • Understand what Alyssa’s Law requires for Virginia schools that choose to adopt panic alert systems.
  • Hear from two Virginia school districts on how they use Raptor Badge Alert and CRG maps to streamline emergency response.
  • See how Badge Alert delivers critical data to 911, activates multi-channel campuswide notifications, and goes beyond the law’s device requirements.
