Before his current role, as CEO of M6 Global Defense Mike served as a protector to America’s family as a Special Agent in the Presidential Protection Division of the United States Secret Service. Where he protected the President and First Family of the United States worldwide, through the oversight of advanced security surveys and threat assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks. His work in the U.S. Secret Service also extended to making tactical decisions regarding the President of the United States, Vice President, First and Second Families, and numerous Foreign Heads of State, while working under the Special Operations Division as a Presidential Counter Assault Team Operator, Assistant Team Leader. Mike was also the Texas City Independent School District, executive director of security and school safety where he utilized technology and research-based tactics to provide support to K-12 administrators, local, state, and federal law enforcement, and other community stakeholders.
Commander Tim Hicks is employed with the Midlothian Police Department in Texas. He has experience working and supervising in several divisions to include Patrol, Traffic, SROs, and, SWAT. He just recently transitioned to the Professional Standards Division after serving five years as the SRO Commander and Director of Safety/Security for Midlothian ISD. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Management from Liberty University, followed by a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership from the same institution. Additionally, he is a graduate of the FBI National Academy class #286.
