Jeff Pollard is a founding member of George Mason University’s Threat Assessment Team, where he is an Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society teaching threat assessment. He also serves as the Behavioral Science Advisor to Mason’s Police Department. Dr. Pollard has over 30 years of experience consulting on threat assessment to universities, colleges, private individuals, and government agencies throughout the country.
Mike Matthews is the Director of Operations for the Fairview Park City School District in the Greater Cleveland Area, Michael oversees all operational aspects of the district, including business affairs and human resources. With fifteen years of experience as an Elementary Principal and Associate Middle School Principal, and eight years as an Elementary Teacher, Michael is dedicated to prioritizing the well-being of students and staff in every decision, ensuring that all stakeholders have the essential tools for success.
Dr. Grosso is a highly accomplished professional with a Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, more than 15 years of experience and a passion for student wellbeing. Dr. Grosso provides in-depth subject knowledge, technical expertise, industry-specific guidance and support on requirements, and helps validate the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of project outputs. At Round Rock ISD, she led the creation of the Behavioral Health Services Department, overseeing a team of social workers providing vital support to students and families. Dr. Grosso pioneered the threat assessment process, creating a safe environment for over 46,000 students. She also updated suicide protocols district-wide, implementing evidence-based practices. Nationally, Dr. Grosso serves on the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's National Chapter Leadership Council.
